  Dr Mujahid is a highly skilled urologist specializing in major open, endoscopic, and laparoscopic surgeries, including complex procedures for stones and tumors. He expertly manages a busy urology clinic, oversees resident training, and is actively involved in academic and administrative roles within the field.

  
  

  • Surgical Expertise:
  • Perform major open, endoscopic, and laparoscopic urological surgeries, including complex procedures for stones and tumors
  • Conduct basic endoscopic procedures such as cystoscopies, ureteric stent insertions, ureteroscopy, and Transurethral Resection of the Prostate (TURP)
  • Oversee and perform Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy (PCNL) surgeries
  • Clinical Duties:
  • Operate the Urology Clinic multiple times a week, managing and evaluating 35-50 patients per day.
  • Perform surgeries and provide supervision for residents in the operating room on a regular basis.
  • Manage patient care in both ward and ICU settings on a daily basis
  • Academic and Professional Engagement:
  • Participate in weekly Uro-oncology and Nephro-urology meetings, fortnightly Morbidity and Mortality (M&M) conferences, academic lectures, Journal Club meetings, and monthly PAUS meetings
  • Organize and facilitate urology seminars and conferences
  • Administrative Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the consultant urological surgery rota
  • Supervise emergency room (ER) patients, including preoperative management, surgical planning, and postoperative care in the ICU and wards
  • Work Schedule:
  • Dedicate approximately 60 hours per week to clinical practice and research activities
